New Entrant Training - Achieve Liquor Licensing Knowledge

Corona virus update: We are asking anyone who has travelled overseas within 14 days of any of our face-to-face courses to NOT book one of our New Entrant Training sessions. What we are recommending for those people and indeed for people concerned about attracting the virus to instead participate in one of our New Entrant Training Webinars - which are obviously virus free

New Entrant Training is the compulsory training course for licensees and nominees building new operations or transferring existing licences within Victoria, Australia.

Course costs $185 Melbourne metro & Webinars, and $195 for country courses.

Webinars on-demand - $395 for the first person, then standard fees per person thereafter.  PLEASE NOTE: Webinars on-demand, are NOT one-on-one sessions. We reserve the right to add additional students to the course, once YOU have selected the date and time of the session.

The Victorian Commission for Gambling & Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) requires that new Licensees and Nominees MUST complete New Entrant Training before being granted a Liquor Licence. Liquor Consultancy Services assisted in the development of the original New Entrant Training course, and naturally authoured   Achieve Liquor Licensing Knowledge and delivers New Entrant Training throughout Victoria.

Achieve Liquor Licensing Knowledge is a New Entrant Training course approved by the VCGLR.

The NOMINAL delivery hours for this course is 6 hours. This includes some reading time.  We have listed times here that we believe to closer represent the real hours that participants will be in the classroom (including webinars).

Please note, it is a requirement of this program that all attendees have a good understanding of speaking, listening and writing in English. We have an obligation to the VCGLR to ensure that the enrolled person is assessed and not a family member who has translated. For this reason, family members will not be permitted to attend to "assist". If you feel you do not meet these language guidelines, please contact us to arrange a session with an interpreter at one of our training sessions. For Mandarin speaking courses, click here.

Country or interstate attendees - Don't waste hours in your car and pay for overnight accommodation. Why not attend one of our Webinars? These interactive internet based sessions include all of the materials. You interact with other students and you can ask questions in exactly the same manner as normal face-to-face sessions, but with only a small number of  students.

Additionally, for additional fees - we can provide one-on-one or small group WEBINAR training at a time that suits YOU!
